I have an affiliate relationship with companies whose ads appear on my blog. Both display ads and text links are utilized. This means that when you click on an ad/link and make a purchase, I will get a commission from that company for that sale. I have chosen Affiliate Marketing rather than other forms of advertising to maintain control over what type of company and ads get placed on my site. I will only advertise companies that I enjoy doing business with and those who I believe will benefit my readers.
You can assume that if it is a display ad, I have an affiliate relationship with that company. However, not all text links will be affiliate links. There will be plenty of times that I will mention and place a link to a company that I feel has a great product or deal that I just want to share with my readers. You will know which link is an affiliate link and which is not by hovering over the link. A short message will appear and tell you if it is an affiliate link while the non-affiliate will not display any message.
